WATERWALK along Trail Creek

Join the Rossland Streamkeepers for a “WaterWalk” to celebrate our watershed!  This FREE, family friendly event is all about getting outside and exploring the Trail Creek watershed. You can start your WaterWalk at one of the 3 trailhead stations - in Rossland, Warfield and Trail - so you need not walk, jog or ride the entire 10 km trail.

At 1 pm, meet at the Village Square Park behind the Warfield Community Hall to hear about the work of the Streamkeepers.  Snacks, food, and refreshments will be available to all participants - bring your own mug!  There will be prizes for participants who complete the available Watershed Trivia Hunt and/or dress up in a wildlife costume.

Complete the entire Watershed Trivia sheet and be entered into the Lucky Draw to win the big prize.  Although this is a participation event and not a contest, relay teams and cyclists are encouraged to complete the entire 10km WaterWalk route.  There is a rumour that music  may be provided by JLCrowe!  So join in the party and walk, skip, run or bicycle through our watershed - learn something new, and explore your backyard...
